I bought the R-44 from an outfit in Boston and flew it back to the west coast in Oct 2003. 4.5 days, about 10 stops, and a great way to see the US from 500' above the ground.

lauriegene > Early winter of 2003 while the aircraft was based in KRNO. This was a day trip to Minden to practice emergency procedures.

lauriegene > Mark's birthday ride, 19 June 2005. One of those truly spectacular Bay Area days, calm and sunny and clear. We had a great time: Bay Tour over SFO and the City, then along the beaches past Fort Funston and Pacifica, down the coast past Half Moon Bay and Pescadero, and back up toward San Carlos via Woodside.
