The House on the Hill : This very square but imminently comfortable house became home Feb 18, 2004. We call it the neighborhood HoJos, but indeed it is a wonderful house and I can't imagine living anywhere else.

Oakland Kitchen Reno : After a fruitless search for the perfect house with a perfect kitchen, I bought the house I couldn't live without with a very imperfect kitchen, and immediately gutted it. Ten months later, after various starts and stops, I was pretty much done. And what fun!
